I had a total hip replacement 14 months ago, I work 8 hour days on my feet, 40+ hours a week. I have to have the other hip replaced, probably next year, so the replaced leg is slightly longer. I am favoring the other leg now, so I am trying to place most of my weight when standing on the replaced leg. This, I feel will help with rehab after surgery next year. I am concerned that once both hips are replaced I am going to have trouble working in the same position. I am fearful that I will not be able to tolerate standing on 2 artificial hips for so many hours. Can anyone help me with this question and these concerns?
