epsom salts for arthritis, any validity ?

I am English, retired chartered accountant (ACMA), B.Sc (Econ) Hons London, aged 78, with Parkinsons, diagnosed 25 years ago, and osteo-arthritis in left foot - agonising - I can only walk 20 yards or so.
