Cosmetic Surgery

Posted Sep 02 2009 6:03pm
A while back Patrick, our second oldest daughter's husband, not only had chemotherapy, but also surgery done to remove some cancer remnants. The scar on his chest has not healed very nicely and he will undergo some cosmetic treatment soon.

Cosmetic surgery has always been looked upon to be for the rich and famous and correct whatever someone did not like about their body or face. It has become more and more socially accepted and affordable to anyone.

Personally, the only thing I would consider having done might be a dermal filler to get rid of some of the many wrinkles which sprung up seemingly overnight. Then again, it is a blessing being able to age with grace.

I can totally understand that some people would consider plastic surgery to improve their appearance. Many suffering from obesity are trying to loose weight. Sometimes they loose it too fast which leaves them with excessive skin hanging from their stomachs. No explanation is needed there for having a Tummy Tuck done.

Of course you would like it to be done by highly experienced surgeons and you would want to be treated like a person and not a number. That by itself is reason enough to go a few extra miles to one of the MYA clinics.

Feeling comfortable in your own skin is worth it!
