Bruised or cracked shin

I hit my shin on a trailer hitch two weeks ago. Last week my entire shin was bruised, and my ankle was swollen. I still have a pretty substantial bump on my shin, just below the knee, along the tibia. There's pain in my ankle and sometimes my knee. Anything I can do?

I would put ice on your shin and ankle to get the swelling down. Go to a doctor for a exam, he may order x-rays to see the extent of the trauma to your shin and ankle.
