019 February 2010what i’m reading: memory, sorrow and thorn

I have read almost every book I own. Since I’ve gotten married, though, my book collection has increased, encompassing many of my husband’s books as well. Some of them I know would not interest me, books about spies and wars by authors like Tom Clancy. Not really my style.
At his behest, I am reading Tad Williams’ Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series. I’m in the second part of the final book of the trilogy. I enjoy Tad Williams; I’ve read “Tailchaser’s Song” and the “Otherland” books, and I’d always seen this series at the bookstore, but somehow never picked it up.
If you like fantasy, it is definitely a good read. It’s full of bravery and romance and war and sorrow, and the writing is just beautiful. They are books to get lost in, certainly, books to lose track of time while reading. My favourite kind of books.
