My son is 15 and started breaking out in head sweats for no apparent reason this past school year. He now has his first job as a cashier and is having the same problem. I feel it is aniexity but he says he is not worked up. It just starts happening and then he gets upset. The sweat rolls off and his hair gets soaked. I had bloodwork done a few months ago and it showed all levels were good. Please advise who I should see.
Head sweats on their own are not usually indicative of anxiety so in the absence of other symptoms I think you first need to consider alternative possibilities. I'm not sure of what you should look for. Your son's doctor is better placed to make such decisions.
