A book arrived in the post today. 'The Forgiveness Formula' by Kathleen Griffin.
Synopsis; "We all have people we need to forgive. We all have someone who has done us real wrong, maybe a parent, lover or friend. They may be long dead or very much alive. But until we learn to forgive them, the pain they caused us sits heavily in our heart. Not letting go does more damage than you'd think."
Sounds familiar? I don't normally read self help books but these are exceptional circumstances. If it works or not I do not know, but a review is promised when I'm finished.
Update 20 November. I read the first chapter and so far have thought, "What a load of twaddle!" I really do hate self help books!! They are so obvious it's unreal. Yeah Yeah, forgive when you're ready, thanks, I already gathered that. Quite frankly I'm not, so I won't be picking that one up for a while yet.
