Want to know what Purple Day is all about?
It started in 2008 with a little girl named Cassidy Megan who wanted to spread awareness about epilepsy!
It’s a day when people around the world are encouraged to wear something purple on March 26th to show people who live with Epilepsy they are not alone and to help spread awareness.
In two short years, along with the help of the Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia and The Anita Kauffman Foundation, Cassidys efforts to spread the word about epilepsy have gone global! (check out her website http://www.purpleday.org )
