Advair (fluticasone propionate + salmeterol xinafoate) is a long-acting beta2-agonist typically prescribed as a secondary treatment in addition to a primary asthma medication when symptoms persist. It is not usually prescribed as the primary asthma treatment.

Is is also used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, specifically chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

If you are still having difficulty breathing then you need to go back to the prescribing physician.

Best wishes
