my son is having pain in left arm and having a cold sensation going through his chest and under his under arm. he has anxiety and also he was in a wreck and had a injury to his chest where the seat belt was. he has a large knot in his left breast from it. we were told it was scared tissue. but my son has pain a lot there. so my son is having a hard time dealing with this. we have been out to the hospital a lot. we don't know what to do
I assume your son's physical injuries have/are being treated, but it sounds as if his mental injuries aren't. These can be as damaging to his health as the physical ones, perhaps even more so.
A good starting point would be to have him assessed by a psychologist. His doctor should be able to recommend a therapist in your area, or the hospital may have a psychology department.
