One afternoon i come home to find the area around my female parakeet’s eye red, and in the next morning its black, i isolated her from the other one and gave her some anti-bacterial broad range medicine that they recommended at pet-smart well the bird' s just as active as before and sings to the other one, her poop is normal and she just has that eye, but thanks for the help
It sounds very much as though your bird has been injured in some way. Please take her to an avian vet to make certain no infection develops. The medication that you purchased at PetSmart is not sufficient (and is almost certainly useless for just about all infections).
