Is there any one here that suffers from social phobia or agoraphobia, or zoophobia?

if so, what are your symptoms, and how is a day in life of your phobia?

you may email me or instant message me if you’d like.

I have agoraphobia. I would say a day in my life is that I can never take anything for granted. Everything is a test of will. I can’t go grocery shopping without "psyching" myself into it. My heart races, I get nausea, diarrea, shaking, thinking and memory impairment, trouble speaking. Sometimes I’m truly paralyzed. I can’t think, move, or speak.

I just have to keep pushing my comfort zone. For example I get all my prescriptions filled at Walmart in a city 40 miles away just because I know it will force me out of the house. I have to make that effort or I just won’t ever leave these walls.

I dropped out of high school at 14 and got my diploma through correspondence. I was housebound until I was 21, but I’ve been in recovery for 6 years. I’ll never be a social butterfly, but I have a few good friends and I enjoy some things outside my home.

Don’t know if that answers your question or not. Take care.
