What you describe isn't that unusual. During sleep neurotransmitter levels are much different than when awake and take a little while to re balance to awake levels if you emerge from deep sleep suddenly. Until they do you may experience effects of altered consciousness. This is probably also be why nocturnal panic attacks are fairly common.
If cardiovascular disease isn't a risk factor, the upper abdomen pressure and nausea are likely to be part of the same process. The gut has its own large brain-like nervous system - the
enteric nervous system (ENS) - which is directly connected to the brain. The ENS produces many of the gut centered symptoms of anxiety/fear. However, I would mention these symptoms to your doctor during your next visit. If you do have cardiovascular disease then I recommend you have these checked out now just in case.
