i took one dose of citalopram woke up 2 hrs. later with panic attack symptoms and was wondering if that could make anxiety worse

i took one dose which i believe to be 20mg and tried to sleep eventually did then woke up 2 hrs later with panic attack symptoms so i was wondering if a severe panic attack could make anxiety worse cause it seemed to make the dreamy like feeling worse
