and i am scared to go to a new doctor. I really think I need help but I dont know how to start getting it.

There is no reason to be scared about discussing your possible anxiety disorder with your doctor, murphya79. Anxiety disorders are very common, more than 20% of the population will experience one of them in their lifetimes. It is likely that the majority of patient in your doctor's waiting room will have either an anxiety and/or depressive disorder.

The longer anxiety disorders are allowed to fester the harder they become to treat successfully so I urge you to seek help asap. They are highly treatable either with medication, psychotherapy, or a combination of both. Untreated they are much harder to live with than the momentary embarrassment you might feel from discussing this with your doctor.

You also need to consider that there are some physical illnesses (actually anxiety disorders are a physical illness too) that produce many of the symptoms of anxiety disorder and these should be ruled out or treated.
