I have a phobia of eating in school. Because of this i have an unbalanced diet. How do i overcome this?

I only eat Dinner in the evenings. I do not eat during the school day and do not have enough time to eat breakfast in the mornings. How do i overcome my fear of eating socially?

A complete physical to check if your unbalanced diet is having an affect on your health would be a good initial step, misjasie. Please tell the doctor about your eating habits and the reason for them so the doctor knows what to look for.

While your phobia about eating in public may be the main problem for you, I suspect the issue is broader than this. A psychotherapist will be able to help you explore this further and to develop the tools to overcome it. Your doctor should be able to recommend a cognitive behavioral therapist in your area.

are you able to drink in public? Maybe it would be worth buying some supplement drinks like Ensure or Boost to give you some fuel throughout the day. What about packing snacks like trail mix that you can eat quickly without being seen? Obviously this is something that needs addressed on a deeper level (ie, the phobia itself) but in the meantime, making sure you get adequate nutrition is really important.
