How does anxiety, panic disorder, and agoraphobia affect one’s social life?

Posted May 18 2010 1:11pm

Deeply, and in every way possible.

Anxiety and panic attack are bad enough, but the fear that an attack might be just around the corner, so it’s hard to simply relax and be yourself.

Agoraphobia is often but not always related. It can trigger or worsen attacks, and is no walk in the park at the best of times.

In short, it would be very hard to continue with even the appearance of a normal social life while combating these disorders.
