How do you make whipped cream thick enough to put on cake as icing?
I followed a friend's advice and made icing for a birthday cake out of whipped cream and lemon extract. Except, the whipped cream is WATERY! I have no idea how I'm supposed to put that on the cake. Plus, I have minimal groceries!! Please help me! How on earth do I make the whipped cream thick enough? (The whipped cream that I'm referring to are the ones that you can buy in the grocery stores, the ones you usually put on fruits for dessert, the ones that are WATERY!)
You need either corn starch, flour or gelatin as a stabilizer. If you've already whipped the cream, it is too late.
