Posted by edwardii

I am 38 year, a male, I can not drive any car? even when I am riding with a driver or any person, I feel so anxious (sometimes, I get a kind of panic attack), it paralyze me, and I get burnt.

I have not been through any car accident? but I've seen two years ago, three dead people in front of by a car accident.

I need to use a car, but I am really so scared, especially, when surrounded by close cars.

is there any cure to my phobia??

 thanks

Yes, edwardii, phobias, including driving phobia are usually relatively easily overcome. The treatment of choice is exposure therapy, a variant of cognitive behavior therapy. You doctor should be able to recommend a therapist in your area.

Best wishes
