As if the pressure I put on myself to lose the baby weight weren't bad enough, I read today on babycenter that I should expect it to take about 9 months (the duration of my pregnancy) to take it all off. I'm not going to let that discourage me, however. My baby is 3 1/2 months old, but my OBGYN advised against running until the 10 week. So when I tell people that my baby is 3 1/2 months old they are probably sizing me up, going, well why in the heck hasn't she lost even a little bit of the weight. Ok, I know people probably aren't thinking that - well, at least I hope not. So with my recent work out regimen I have been working out 4 days per week on the treadmill. It's been 2 weeks consistently now and I've lost 5 pounds! The first week I ran one mile each time and pushed it to 1.6 miles the second week. I can feel my body getting stronger each time. My goal is to lose another 20-25 pounds. Seems like an uphill battle, but I'm a pretty strong-willed person, so I'm going to give it all that I got. I'll keep you posted!
