Are my burning stomach pains anxiety? I am very stressed lately, about employment problems. They are in the right side just below my rib cage and feel like internal burning.
Stomach/gastro-intestinal tract pains (and symptoms such as diarrhea) can be anxiety related. The brain is directly linked to these via both the vagus nerve and the enteric nervous system.
However, pain in that area could also indicate liver or gallbladder problems, even an outside chance of appendicitis. If in doubt consult a doctor.
