I'm a mom, a wife, and a wildlife biologist.  I recovered from Bell's palsy and am coping with CFIDS, sleep apnea, and ADHD.  My husband is a firefighter/paramedic and my kids are 12 and 6 (one of them also diagnosed with ADHD).

I was a wildland firefighter and an avid backpacker before kids, now a car-camper, canoer, girlscout leader.  I love to hike and run, but those kinds of things are currently CFS-pending.  When I can comfortably walk 3 miles my doctor will support running.

I'm working to keep my job but my employer currently says I need to work full time or not at all.  I love my agency but am unfortunately stuck in a legal battle related to disability rights.  But I want to work and will find a way.

I've been enjoying blogging lately and I think it's helping me get my marbles back:
