While we were on vacation, we rented a handicap accessible cabin in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
It was GORGEOUS, but the layout was such that Dad's room was all the way on the other side of the cabin and I could not hear him get up from my room. This made me nervous, because I always worry that he might fall.
The first day we were there, we went to a cute little antique shop where I found a string of bells, like the kind that shopkeepers put on their door to hear if someone enters.
I tied them on to Dad's walker, and now I can tell where he is at all times.
It was the best $1.00 I ever spent. It's just like having a Dad location device!
