What tests are available to confirm a diagnosis and set treatment plan for mild diffuse atrophy?

My MRI shows diffuse prominence of the ventricular syustem and cortical sulei consistent with atrophy. Patchy periventricular and deep white matter chages are seen, which most likelyare due to small vessel disease indicating mild diffuse atrophy.
