Bob DeMarco made it possible for all of us to know and love his mother, Dotty, at the Alzheimer’s Reading Room. Through their story we learned what worked and what didn’t when it came to Alzheimer’s and caring for those we love.

Bob was a pioneer, traveling the path ahead of us and leaving breadcrumbs along the way so our trip through Alzheimer’s World would be a little bit easier.

I was sorry to learn of Dotty’s passing and my deepest sorrow goes out to Bob DeMarco at this time.

You can find their story at The Alzheimer’s Reading Room.

Dorothy O. DeMarco born June 29, 1916 died at 5 AM, May 25, 2012

She is survived by her two sons F. William and Robert DeMarco, her daughter Joanne Totaro, her three grandchildren Stasia, Kristen, and Chad, and two great grandchildren Ryan and Kaitlyn.
