Study Shows Alzheimer’s Can Be Detected Early by Eye Exam

Now, researchers at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in collaboration with colleagues from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel and the University of Southern California. have discovered, through work with genetically modified mice, that the retina of the eye give information that can diagnose Alzheimer's in very early stages. This finding was reported in an article titled, "Hallmark Alzheimer's Disease Changes Found in Retinas of Humans and Imaged in Live Animals."
