I was curious to know what activities or meals even cold medicines might cause false readings in a PET scan for brain activity AND which activities would cause false positives or false negatives. All the information I have found on line has been very broad and generic in nature. For example, I know sugar is not to be consumed prior to a PET, does that cause false positives or negatives? etc.
