My husband was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's about a month ago.

My husband was diagnosed about a month ago with early onset alzheimer's.  He seems to be having a good couple of weeks and says he knows he doesn't have it now.  I am very confused since the last couple of weeks seems like he has been back to normal.  What can you tell me about how we are feeling.

Becky, I'm not a doctor, but I did take care of my Mom with Alzheimer's. If your husband was diagnosed with early onset, he may be just fine for many years. There is no way to predict when his symptoms or behavior will change, and then it may be a gradual change. So he probably does "feel" fine.  The behaviors and symptoms of Alzheimer's usually escalate over a period of many years. Hope that helps a little.
