Depends on where you had it done, generally you should have an appointment for some follow-up results if that is what you are asking. Call the doctor who referred you for the testing, and ask for the results or an appointment to review the results. There should be something back by now. The more people involved in the testing the longer it may take. There is no standard for how long it would take and it depends on the tester and the facility. 4 weeks is long enough to wait, you should call and ask how much longer.
He had it done at the Adventist Medical Center in Rockville, MD. She said she would call us to come back in when when she had everything completed. I ask her how long and she said about three weeks. She is a neurophychologist. It is just that my husband can't think of anything else. He is suppose to have a knee replacement surgery done the end of June but he insists he have these results before then. He is 60. I will do what you suggested and call them on Monday morning. Thank you for responding so quickly.
Good luck, and call and leave messages every day, if you do not get an answer. Also make sure you call whoever made the referral for the testing, unless you made the appointment yourself, but I am assuming some doctor or health care provider told you to go see this person for more specialized testing. Sorry you have to go through this. Waiting for information and results is a terrible feeling.
Thank you very much for the advice. I will call the neurologists that sent him for the cognitive evaluation also. It took him about 10 hours (split into two days) to do them. I am so glad I took the time and ask this question. I feel better already just know someone is listening to me.
