Hello Helen,
I'm not a medical doctor, so I'm not sure what might have happened to your dad. As long as you took him to the doctor and they gave him a clean bill of health, it should be fine.
My Mom had Alzheimer's, though, and often strange little things like that would happen. We never knew, either, but I always thought it was probably just a result of the brain damage they are suffering.

He had a paste looked to him and then he just stared at the ceiling for a very long time and he kept moving his one arm up the bedroom wall then he just kind of came back to us. what do you think it is we took him to the hospital and there was no invections found
