Saw the orthopedic surgeon today. The shot of cortisone I got in my right hip did little good. He asked if I was ready for hip replacement surgery. I wimped out.
I'm going to sit on it (literally) for a while. He suggested I use a cane and I think I'll do that. It helps with long walks and stairs. It also provides amazing side benefits. People hold doors and step aside to let me in line.
