Alzheimer's is one specific type of dementia. The most common type of dementia
Just the reverse: Alzheimer's Disease is just one of many cognitive disorders in the Dementia category. Some other dementias include: multi-infarct (or vascular) dementia, Picks Disease, Frontal Lobe Dementia, Parkinsons.
