With all the hype this week surrounding the new Michael Jackson movie, it had reminded Dad once again that Michael Jackson died. David and I were talking about how hard it would be to find a jury that had no prior knowledge of the back-story. I never heard or read anything about his death. Dad said. What happened to him? Then it hit me. Dad was summoned for jury duty a few months ago and I declined noting that he had Alzheimer's and would not be able to serve. Maybe they should stack the jury with dementia patients because they are the ONLY people on Earth that don't know what happened to Michael Jackson. I may be on to something here... and jurors get $12 a day. We could be RICH!

Kathy, when my husband was in a nursing home, he was called to jury duty. I told them he had dementia and they made me get a doctor's note! I thought about saying, go out to the nursing home and get him if you think he really needs to serve.
