Bio

I am 31 years old, and I have had Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) -- also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) -- for my entire adult life. I am not alone. It is estimated that more than 4 million Americans (and countless others around the world) suffer from this disease. I currently work full-time at a great job and appear young and healthy. What many don't know, however, is that I am someone who suffers from multiple chronic conditions, has trouble walking up a flight of stairs, and is usually too tired to do anything other than watch TV and go to bed. I know I am one of the "lucky" ones with CFIDS because I am able to work... though I don't have much else of a life. I hope that sharing my thoughts and experiences will help others better understand the disease.
