my boyfriend is in and out of the hospital with esrd and chronic pain. in january he had a bad episode with seizures so they took him off dilaudid not knowing if that was the cause of the episode. yesterday he had surgery to get a fistula placed and is in severe pain. the doctors said that he can take dilaudid again. i was reading up on it and saw the note about the latex allergy. he is allergic to latex. should he be taking dilaudid?
