my 3 year old daughter is allergic to egg whites, yolk (since about 1 yrs old) and now hazelnuts. (And a slight allergy to peanuts, milk..thou nothing does happen when milk is ingested..shes never tried peanuts or any peanut products) The skin prick test shows positive to all 3, egg white yolk and hazelnuts, but the RAST test shows shes not allergic to egg white or yolk, just to hazelnuts..now the allergist is sending her for an IGG test? this is all very confusing...is it possible for false positives and negatives in these tests ? which test is most accurate?
