when i get out of the pool my eyes get red and so doesmy skin around the eyes. why does this happen,and how can i reduce the red

this deosnt really relate to my allergies i just had to pick a category. this always happens when ever i get out of the pool. it gets very red around and in my eyes so please help. thank you
