Rudi's to the rescue for Hashimoto sufferers

Posted Jan 18 2011 5:59pm
I received a free loaf of bread recently from Rudi's. Thank you Rudi's Bakey! This is gluten free bread that tastes delicious, is chock full of good stuff, and whether toasted or just thawed from the freezer, it is a treat for the tastebuds.
Much has been reported lately about Celiac sufferers, but I am new to discovering I have Hashimoto's disease and from my research it is a good idea to eliminate gluten in the diet if you have this disease.
I already had eliminated gluten and have found products I like, so when Rudi's free loaf arrived I wondered if it would please me and it certainly has. I have had it toasted, and just eaten a slice thawed out. I am eager to try it in stuffing recipes and when needing breadcrumbs. I am very pleased.
While learning about Hashimoto's disease and other autoimmune diseases I am finding out that many sufferers of autoimmune disease would benefit from a diet without gluten and yet I have heard people complain that it is just too hard to stick to it, that the products are not pleasing enough. Well, I recommend Rudi's, you won't be sorry you tried their products.
