New interest in my Gluten Free Recipe Books

It has been a busy few months, first I was invited to appear on a local TV station and bring some of my baked goodies from my cookbooks, taste test of sorts. I could tell that the host, Kasia, was prepared to sort of ‘fake’ that she liked my baking until she tasted my bread, then she tried my carrot cake and was overwhelmed that it tasted even better than her wheat/gluten recipe!


After the show was taped, the whole studio crew came in and devoured the rest of the goodies. Two of their crew are on a gluten free diet and after tasting, went right on my website and bought my books. As they say, “The proof is in the tasting!”

Then GlutenFreeda called me and asked me to develop a special gluten free recipe for a Cooking with the Experts Easter page. I put my thinking cap on and after a few trial runs came up with ‘Pink & Lavender Angel Chiffon Cake”. Have a look and try this free recipe posted on my website. It is just the prettiest cake too! Fun and easier to make than it looks.


Shiloah, of Homemaking has been so happy trying many of my recipes. She has seven in her family to feed and loves my gluten free baking system of making your own mixes to save time and money.


Last week topped things off as I was invited to do a radio interview with Rose-Ann Kumpunen, we chatted for about ten minutes. At first I wondered if I would be able to answer all her questions without being too nervous, but she made it all easy, just like a regular conversation.


Getting the word out about my books has been slow going, now though, as people try my recipes, the word is starting to spread.
