My son was just diagnosed with a malt intolerance. But the test came back that he can have wheat and gluten. So does all purpose

He gets horrible pains in his legs. We recently took him off of all wheat all gluten products. This did help, but not 100%. We did a bllod test with a panel of 300 foods to test for food intolerance. It came back that he is highly intolerant to malt but he can have wheat and gluten. I am really confused, everyone says if he can't have malt he can't have wheat or gluten. Is this true?

He is only 3 years old. I am to the point I don't know what I can or cannot feed him.
