itching

i have never had so much itching in my life!  I am itching all over, it actually moves from spot to spot, from my neck down my back and lower to my butt and legs and especially my feet and hands.  i have not changed shampoos, lotions, soap or anything.  I scratch so much i leave welts on all over my body.  what could this be?
