I have crushed zyrtec into powder and mixed in water to help assist my pet cockatiel with allergies and itchiness where she scratches her feathers out of her head and then draws blood on herself. I have not seen negative impacts the few times I have done this for her and it has helped her condition tremendously, but I am still wondering if this is a safe thing with my bird. I am cocerned if it may have long term negative effects on her. Please help!
