Have you had your thyroid checked? A lump in throat or difficulty swallowing can be a sign of a goiter and an underlying thryoid condition. Dr will probably do blood tests on your thyroid hormone levels, a physical exam of your neck and a scan to check for a goiter.  Usually treated with medication. Hope this helps. I am having thyroid problems and this was a sign the Dr asked me about.
