how should I treat a chemical burn from Mr. Clean's magic eraser?

I had permanent marker all over my arm from my child.. I used magic eraser to get it off and now I have burns all over my arms. How should I treat this? Is there something to neutralize it?

I would like an answer also. My daughter had sharpie on her arm from a swim meet and used the magic eraser to get it off. She now has a painful burning irritation on her forearm.

Diaper rash cream did not help. We are using ice now.
