Sorry that no one understands. I know what you mean. I've had asthma since I was 7 and I'm now 42. Even my mother (who took me to all the doctors and kept me indoors) doesn't get how bad perfumes, potpourri, and dogs effect me. I can't go to her house anymore. My hubby however, bless his heart, dusts and vacuums the house for me. Thank God for small miracles. : )
The way I explained my asthma to my husband was to have him attempt breathing through a wet towel. He got it pretty quick. He still struggles with what triggers my attacks, but he doesn't roll his eyes or give me a funky look like some people do.
Good luck.
oh ! i think his story to be moved. I thing you will lucky in live

Everyone thinks I cause my allergies, don't understand the pollen on clothes and smoke on clothes, coats, or perfume kill me. Damaged inner lining of nose by working as a beautician for 23 years--1956-1978...raising 4 kids alone...Doctors say there is nothing they can do. All I ask is cooperation from family. Mt. Cedar is my killer. I can handle the others.
