It's Monday and I am already pooped. How did that happen? I think it's because I am anxious about a project we are about to start. We decided that since the illustrator has another book series lined up to draw, we would be better off not going to the convention in New York this time and decided it is time to make our master bedroom into our office. This is going to be a huge move for us. It really is a waste of space when you think about it being a bedroom and we spend all of our time in the smallest room in the house now. The illustrator starts to feel really cramped and I totally understand that. I get up and go in and out, but he is at the drawing table all day. So, we have to move everything out, do the floors and paint...oh and move everything else in and redo a bedroom. Ok, now I know why I am tired. Oh and did I mention that I get really stressed when the house is wrecked...well, I get really stressed when the house is a wreck. The illustrator has already had a heart to heart with me about the fact that it will be messed up, but it will be cleaned up too. Luckily, his parents are coming to help us out. It will be nice to get to hang out with them too since it has been a while since we spent time with them one on one.
Since the boys had leftover breakfast pizza (bacon, eggs potato and onion) tonight, I decided to make a quick breakfast for myself. I know everyone has to eat something solo from time to time and I normally just go for a huge veggie omelet when I do this kind of meal. However tonight I wanted fluffy pancakes with my eggs. I did not want syrup though. Sometimes I get like that. I want the texture of pancakes or waffles, but not sweet. I know, weird, but I like it. Anyway, back to the pancakes...you don't have to have a mix for whole wheat pancakes! These are so simple!
