Hello--my doctor prescribed me two Bactrim pills a day for a staph infection. The medicine is making me queasy, shaky and nauseous but seems to be clearing up the infection. I have a several-year history of alcohol abuse, but I have been sober for two years. Should I continue taking this medication, or is it dangerous for someone who has abused alcohol in the past?
