Burning/ Itching just on my feet and hands

I experienced severe itching/burning in my feet and hands. I just could not stop kind of scratching my legs and hands. But, there was no rash or any other signs of any skin problems. Burning/ Itching just on my feet and hands, would end in sweating and sometimes fainting after the attack.
After about half hour, if I was not able to take the itching and burning sensation, I would sweat on my forehead and then faint for a few minutes, and puff it is gone. I got it about 8 or 10 times for a period of 2 months. This was the worst thing I have ever experienced in my life. What could be causing this?
I am so worried that I may get this again. Any advice or suggessions?
