I craved homemade chocolate chip cookies and being the experimental type I wanted to fiddle with a tried and true recipe so I took out my Betty Crocker Cook Book and fiddled. This is my version (THANKS, BETTY for inspiring me with yours) 1 cup Agave syrup 1 cup mixture of palm and coconut oils 1 large egg 2 1/4 cups buckwheat flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup puffed brown rice 1 package of organic DF grainfree chocolate chips Oven at 375 deg. I use parchment paper to line baking sheet Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool a little then carefully slide them onto a wire rack. Enjoy! I did!
