I made bread and it turned out delicious! Okay, my first loaf was terrible but my second and third loaves have been really good (if I do say so myself). The recipe, American Sandwich Bread, is from The America’s Test Kitchen Family Cookbook. It really is worth the time and energy it takes to make this bread and you can trust me when I suggest adding chores to anyone’s day. I’m way to lazy to suggest anyone do extra baking if they can buy something from the store that tastes better and is healthier. However, this bread tastes better then Sara Lee and is better for us - no high fructose corn syrup or fear of cross contamination.
So, if you’re up for some good bread and an ab workout (*added bonus -kneading bread by hand works the abs - mine have been killing me all day) - give it a try. It’s delicious!
